SHOUT OUT BIKRAM YOGIS ……FEELING SAD OR DEPRESSED ????………GET OFF YOUR COMPUTER AND GET YOUR BUTT INTO BIKRAM’S TORTURE CHAMBER!!!! You may find that sitting on your duff is causing you greater torture!!!!

We all know a million reasons why everybody should be doing Bikram Yoga. For starters: It is the MOST AMAZING THERAPEUTIC FORM OF EXERCISE OUT THERE!! IT IS a FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH like no other!!
Nothing renews your cells at a faster rate than Bikram’s strategic placement of poses that systematically stimulates our bodies INTERNALLY, and flushes impurities out of EVERY system in the body EVERY CLASS!! The HEAT accelerates that process and you walk away with a high like no other!!
Now there is even MORE reason to get into the hot room. A new study shows that there is a direct relation between FACEBOOK USERS and DEPRESSION!! No Joke. The more one uses Facebook the greater their unhappiness!!! Read it for yourself ( link below, ) then TURN OFF your iPhone FB app and /or your computer and ENGAGE in REAL LIFE!!

Many of our students at Bikram Yoga Palm Desert – El Paseo claim that Bikram Yoga has improved their confidence and made them feel better about themselves. Many have made friends and contacts at the studio. Some have even been given jobs by other Yogis that they met at the studio. When you do Bikram Yoga you start to regain control of your life and your perception changes. One will start engaging in the world around them rather than being a ‘passive’ onlooker of everyone else’s eventful life………. or more likely the inflated version of it!!
While I understand the value of FB and other Social Networking internet sites, (mostly for business reasons, ) I can completely see the downside. I truly believe that those who are on it constantly, or strictly use it to see what EVERYBODY else is doing all the time, are setting themselves up for sadness. Furthermore, they are allowing precious moments in their lives to slip away!!
Don’t be chained to the FB site! I remember a student telling me that they had to go off of FB because they got “addicted”. It was making him crazy and he said the best thing he did was to sign up for the 30 day challenge and take a FB Sabbatical.
I proposition all of you to partake in your OWN CHALLENGE. Whether that be a specific amount of consistent Bikram Yoga or just a commitment to limit your FB viewing, take care of YOURSELF FIRST !!!
Take care of your mind, your body and your soul!! You just may find out that Bikram’s “TORTURE” chamber is a welcome ” WARMTH” that you are missing in your life!!
That said, I hope to see you in the hot room soon!!!! UNTIL then , Be Happy , Stay Healthy, and Floss Daily……….just do it the shower so you don’t mess up your mirror!
