BIKRAM BLOG….Change is in the air!! Blah, Blah, Blah

There are two things in life that one can always count on   CHALLENGE  and  CHANGE.

Modern technology is constantly evolving and therefore CHANGE  is imminent.   Along with CHANGE  comes a  variety of  CHALLENGES.

Here at Bikram Yoga Palm Desert – El Paseo we are constantly evolving.  As we move forward in shaping  our vision we need to challenge ourselves!!!

We are implementing some exciting changes this fall  that will undoubtably initiate some challenges!!

In November we head outdoors to bring our very special yoga to the masses.  While Bikram yoga is always done in a contained environment in order to be conducive to a 105*/40%  heat consistency,  we are thrilled to be the  yoga studio chosen to launch the Art Museums`  Farmer’s Market  Outdoor yoga in the Sculpture Garden.

We hope to see some new faces that have always wanted to try Bikram but were intimidated by the heat!!  It will be an informative and fun   ‘Taste of Bikram,‘  that will hopefully educate peeps to understand  why  Bikram Yoga is  2013 Wimbledon star  Andrew Murray’s  secret to his success!

“It took a lot of poise, focus and stamina for Murray to succeed, and the source of that strength might be his background in Bikram Yoga.” ……….. “This is the  ORIGINAL   “hot yoga” – if that phrase has ever piqued your interest, you might want to go back to the source.  Andy Murray  swears  by it! ”  (berrybreeze.com)

(woo hoo……..nice standing bow!!!!)

Come out and join  Ann Marie,  Justin ,  and Lina as we lead a unique  OUTDOOR  Intro to Bikram class!!!!   (Every Wednesday morning  in  NOVEMBER  from 9am to 10am at the Palm Springs ART Museum’s   PALM DESERT location!!)

Simultaneously we will be beginning our  THIRD – 30 Day Challenge and already have several peeps signed up who have NEVER participated in the challenge before!!  Their signing up was most motivating for me even though I’ve done MANY before.  I was going to sit this one out  as I’m booked with numerous commitments in November  IN ADDITION  to my teaching and administrative roles at the studio and my Dental Hygiene schedule.  Then I realized this IS MY CHALLENGE!  PHYSICALLY and MENTALLY doing  30 Bikram classes in 30 days is NOT a challenge for me —  it’s a way of life.  Fitting it in to an already tight schedule is THE CHALLENGE!!!   So off I go.

We already had one Challenger ask if going to the outdoor yoga session counts as one of her thirty days. The answer to that :  NOT !!  It’s not a typical Bikram Class and the thirty days must be completed in TRUE BIKRAM FASHION……..In  his  torture chamber!!   Nice try though!!

Hope to see you in the ‘hot room’ soon (I’ll be there EVERY DAY FOR THIRTY DAYS) OR  maybe in the sculpture garden this time around!!

Namaste`
